Under Armour is about to launch a new app with the objective of to aggregating health and fitness information of users from various devices. This app is being made public at the CES in Las Vegas and is going to be offered on the App / Google Play store. According to a statement made by the company in a news release by fitting in information from various devices, the app is devised to supply a total print of your progress – which includes steps, caloric burn, sleep, weight and heart rate.
The statement says that the app is also going to hook the user up with a digital society of fitness-conscious members. Members are able to challenge up to 20 friends to every day, weekly / monthly competitions on health and fitness. The app is going to supply real-time updates as well as place a leaderboard. It is going to let members share photos, videos, and stories on their workout.
The app has its own plea for Plank. In the year of 2011, while en route to the airport his buddy and Under Armour coworker Bill Hampton had a heart attack right before him. Plank stated that he was unable to come to terms with the fact that there were no markers to put Hampton /his doctors on alert of grave issues.
